PeakFusion Featured on Inside Indiana Business: Building a Supplement Brand as a College Student

PeakFusion was recently featured in an Inside Indiana Business segment produced by IBJ Media, filmed at Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield, Indiana. The segment, part of the Business of Health series, covered the story behind building PeakFusion from the ground up as a student at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

The conversation focused on what it actually looks like to start something while still in school — the operational side, the product decisions, and the standard we’ve held ourselves to from the beginning. Not the polished version of entrepreneurship you see on social media. The real version.

Why Grand Park

Grand Park is not a backdrop we chose for aesthetics. PeakFusion is an official vendor at Grand Park Sports Complex, one of the largest youth sports campuses in the country. The athletes and families who train and compete there are exactly the people PeakFusion was built for — performance-driven, serious about what they put in their bodies, and looking for a foundation stack they can actually trust.

Being an official vendor there before the brand had any real media presence was a deliberate move. Get in front of the audience first. Build trust on the ground. Let the product speak for itself.

The Standard Behind the Products

One thing that came up in the segment is the transparency standard PeakFusion holds: every product is independently third-party tested, and the results are publicly available before the checkout. Not after. Not buried in fine print. The Certificates of Analysis are on the website for anyone to read before they spend a dollar.

  • Creatine Monohydrate — Lot B25I013, tested at 100.8% assay by liquid chromatography
  • Complete Multivitamin — Lot MMV250805, passed HPLC, ICP-MS, and microbiological analysis
  • Vitamin D3 — Lot VS220698, measured at approximately 2,556 IU per softgel against a 2,000 IU label

What Building During College Actually Looks Like

The Business of Health framing was accurate. PeakFusion is a health business, but the story of building it is a business story first. Classes, exams, recruiting, time management — all of it happening at the same time as supplier negotiations, Shopify builds, and figuring out how to get the right products in front of the right people.

The honest version of that is not glamorous. But the constraints of doing it in college — limited capital, limited time, real accountability — force a kind of discipline that makes the brand better. You only build what actually needs to exist. You only sell what you would take yourself.

Grant uses every PeakFusion product daily. That is not a talking point. It is the operating standard the brand is built on.
